ABOUT DR QUEENIE CHAN

Dr Chan’s training in Plastic Surgery has taken her through a decade of experience in fourteen hospitals across three states, culminating in attaining the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as a consultant Plastic Surgeon in 2018.

She has more recently undertaken an overseas fellowship in facial reanimation in France with Dr Daniel Labbe and a breast reconstruction fellowship in the renowned breast unit in Bristol under the guidance of Mr Sherif Wilson. The skills and innovation she has acquired will be to better service Albury and the wider regional community and to uphold a standard and quality of care comparable on a world scale.

She has committed to work in disadvantaged communities across the Philippines and Cambodia and has worked as a project coordinator and public relations officer with Rotary International in the past in surgical missions in Caibiran and Dumaguete bringing essential basic healthcare to the disadvantaged and indigent locals.

She currently lives with her family and her alpacas in rural Victoria and her spare time is devoted to her potager garden, learning French and making plans for a future truffière on her farm.

ASSOCIATIONS

Dr Chan is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the highest level of training and qualification which can be awarded to attain the title of a Specialist Plastic Surgeon. She is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).
